Articulated arm hollowing system

I've been working on this system for a few days by now, and finally I got it just the way I want (though I will need to reshape it a bit more to round curves)
The arm motion is completely free due to thrust bearing between the parts (even the holding base has two thrust bearings)
All I have left is a mounting base and maybe some paint job
The total cost of that system was around $30

זה נראה מאוד מתוחכם ולפי השם אני מבין למה זה משמש.
אבל קצת קשה להתרשם מהתמונות איך בדיוק משתמשים במתקן הזה ומה יש לו בקצה ע"מ לבצע את החריטה הפנימית.
אשמח אם תסביר קצת יותר ואולי תצרף תמונה קצת יותר פתוחה שאפשר יהיה לראות את המתקן וראש המחרטה.

I'm still working on that rig but as soon as I'll finish it, I will post a complete, step by step, illustration how to build and use it.
In essence the tip is interchangeable HHS cutter that been used on deep hollowing, however, I do plan to "break" the arm in a few more joints to give me a bit more freedom of access

I have a similar tool that is meant for end-grain turning, the tip shape reminds a tiny round nose scraper and removes lots of wood very quickly, I hope this one will be as effective as the wooden version

This attached arm gives me the flexibility to get inside the work piece in every angle. The joints are tighten by the set screws (once I'm happy with the angle). It was quite an ordeal creating those joints but I think they are working just fine for now
The cutter head needs to be shorten so if you know a way to cut HSS, please let me know
